As I'm sure most of you know, life has a way of getting in the way sometimes. I am so sorry for the LONG pause in blogs. Life has kept us busy. Kyra has stopped athletics and taken up barrel racing/rodeo instead. She is competing in Junior High Rodeo competitions and open jackpots. She recently ran at the ANHA shootout in Waco, Tx and won a little money. WOO HOO!! In rodeo, she has earned some points in pole bending but is struggling in barrels. She is letting her nerves get to her but that is just a learning curve. School is great, lowest grade is a 95, such a little brainiac! She is already thinking about college and future careers.
Yesterday, she ran the Graffiti Run 5K with her cousins and loved every minute of it. She is wanting to host our own Graffiti Run so here goes mom checking out how to do this. She also wants to host another Added Money Jackpot barrel race in conjunction with Autoimmune disease awareness month, FEBRUARY! More information to come on both. Prayers that I can make it happen for her. My sons want to host a co-ed softball tournament. That also sounds like fun. Who knows, maybe we will have a banner year for the KYRA Foundation.
